Payments for independently organized events may be made directly to the event organizer.

An organizer may separately request payment information or provide payment instructions. Information you provide directly to an organizer is the responsibility of that organizer and may be subject to their own privacy practices.

Buno may maintain information relating to an event or participation status where necessary to operate Platform features, but this does not mean Buno holds or processes the underlying event payment.

If Buno introduces its own payment processing functionality in the future, this Privacy Policy may be updated to explain how payment-related information is handled.

We may use information collected through Buno to:

• create and maintain user accounts;
• provide and operate Platform features;
• enable users to create, discover and join events;
• enable organizers to manage events and attendees;
• personalize relevant Platform experiences;
• provide search, maps and location-based functionality;
• send account and event-related notifications;
• communicate important service information;
• provide customer support;
• review and moderate events and content;
• investigate reports and complaints;
• prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorized activity;
• protect the safety and security of users and the Platform;

We may also use contact information to send information about Buno, new features, events or other updates where appropriate.

Transactional or service-related messages may still be sent where necessary to operate your account or provide a service you requested.

Some information on Buno is intended to be visible to others. Depending on the feature, this may include:

• events you organize;
• organizer information;

• other content you choose to publish.

You should avoid posting information publicly that you do not want others to see.

Buno may limit the visibility of certain information based on the relevant Platform feature, privacy controls or safety considerations.

Event locations may be displayed differently depending on the type of event and Platform feature.

Buno may limit or delay the display of precise event location information where appropriate for privacy or safety.

Organizers are responsible for ensuring that they have the right to provide any location information included in an event listing.

Users should not publish private residential addresses or other sensitive location information unless it is reasonably necessary and appropriate for the relevant event.

Buno may communicate with you through channels such as:

• email;
• Platform notifications;
• SMS, where supported; and
• messaging services such as WhatsApp, where applicable.

These communications may include:

• account verification;
• security notifications;
• event confirmations;
• participation updates;
• organizer announcements;
• event changes;
• password resets;
• service updates; and
• other information necessary to operate Buno.

Where communications are promotional rather than necessary to provide the service, you may opt out where applicable.

Buno may use cookies and similar technologies to:

• keep users signed in;
• remember preferences;
• provide Platform functionality;
• maintain security;
• understand Platform usage;
• measure performance; and
• identify and fix technical issues.

Individual event organizers may impose additional age or participation requirements for their events.

Some of the technology and service providers used to operate Buno may process or store information in countries outside Pakistan.

Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps appropriate to the nature of the service and information involved to ensure that personal information is handled responsibly and in accordance with applicable requirements.

You may request deletion of your Buno account through available account functionality or by contacting us.

When an account is deleted, we may delete, anonymize or restrict personal information associated with the account, subject to information we reasonably need to retain for:

• legal requirements;
• fraud or abuse prevention;
• security;
• dispute resolution;
• enforcement of our Terms; or
• legitimate record-keeping purposes.

Content that has been shared with others or forms part of an event, review, report or other record may not always disappear immediately or completely when an account is deleted.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Buno, our practices, technology or applicable requirements.
