Terms of Use

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating and using your account and keep your information reasonably up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity carried out through your account.

You must not:

• impersonate another person;
• create a false or misleading profile;
• use another person’s account without permission; or
• provide information that you know to be false or misleading.

If you are below the age at which you can legally enter into a binding agreement, you may use Buno only with the consent and appropriate involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

Individual events may have their own age or eligibility requirements, which will be determined and communicated by the relevant organizer.

Anyone independently organizing paid events, collecting payments, or entering into commercial arrangements through Buno must have the legal capacity and authority to do so.

Buno provides a platform for people to discover, create and join events, activities and experiences.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, events listed on Buno are created, hosted and managed by independent organizers.

Buno is not the organizer, host, venue, seller or provider of such events.

When you join an event, your participation in that event is an arrangement between you and the event organizer.

Buno does not control the conduct of organizers, attendees, venues or other third parties.

Buno may review events before they are published and may provide verification indicators for certain organizers.

Such review or verification is intended to support the quality, integrity and safety of the Platform. It does not constitute an endorsement, certification or guarantee of an organizer or event.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Buno does not guarantee:

• the identity, background or conduct of an organizer;
• the accuracy of all information provided by an organizer;
• the safety or quality of an event;
• the suitability of an event for a particular person; or
• any particular outcome from attending an event.

Organizers remain fully responsible for the events they create and manage.

If you create, host or manage an event through Buno, you are responsible for ensuring that:

• the event listing is accurate and not misleading;
• you have the right and authority to organize the event;
• the event complies with applicable laws and regulations;
• all required permissions, licences, approvals or venue authorizations are obtained;
• important restrictions, requirements and material risks are clearly communicated;
• prices and payment terms are clearly disclosed;
• any cancellation or refund terms are communicated to attendees; and
• the event is managed responsibly and with reasonable regard for attendee safety.

Organizers are responsible for their own tax, regulatory, financial and legal obligations relating to their events.

Buno may reject, remove, suspend or restrict any event that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, applicable law, another person’s rights, or presents a material safety, fraud or integrity concern.

Before joining an event, you should review the information provided by the organizer, including where applicable:

• date and time;
• location or event format;
• price;
• age or eligibility requirements;
• participation requirements;
• event rules; and
• cancellation or refund terms.

Some events may require approval from the organizer before participation is confirmed.

You are responsible for deciding whether an event is appropriate for you and for complying with any reasonable requirements communicated by the organizer.

If you can no longer attend an event, you should withdraw through Buno where that option is available or contact the organizer directly.

Some events listed on Buno may require payment.

The organizer is responsible for:

• setting the event price;
• providing payment instructions;
• collecting payments;
• confirming payment where required;
• communicating payment-related terms;
• maintaining any legally required records;
• managing refunds; and
• resolving payment-related issues with attendees.

Buno is not acting as a bank, payment processor, wallet or escrow service in relation to payments made directly to organizers.

Users should exercise reasonable care before transferring funds and ensure that the payment information relates to the relevant organizer and event.

If Buno introduces a payment service in the future, additional terms may apply to transactions processed through that service.

Organizers are responsible for setting and managing their own cancellation and refund arrangements, subject to applicable law.

Where a cancellation or refund policy applies, the organizer should communicate that policy clearly to attendees.

For payments made directly to an organizer:

• refund requests must be addressed directly to the organizer;
• refunds are processed by the organizer;
• Buno does not approve or reject refund requests;
• Buno does not process or fund refunds; and
• Buno does not guarantee that a refund will be issued.

If an event is cancelled, postponed or materially changed, the organizer is responsible for notifying affected attendees and handling any payment or refund obligations that may arise.

Users may report suspected fraud or serious misconduct to Buno. Where appropriate, Buno may take action against the relevant account or event.

Events may occasionally be modified, postponed or cancelled.

Organizers are responsible for keeping event information reasonably accurate and communicating material changes to attendees.

Buno may restrict certain changes to an event after attendees have joined where we consider this necessary to protect users or preserve the integrity of event information.

To the extent permitted by law, Buno is not responsible for costs incurred as a result of the cancellation, postponement or modification of an independently organized event, including travel, accommodation, transportation, food or other personal expenses.

Buno enables people to connect online and through in-person experiences. Interacting with people you do not already know may involve risk.

Users are expected to exercise reasonable care and judgment when:

• communicating with other users;
• sharing personal information;
• making direct payments;
• travelling to an event;
• meeting other users; and
• participating in activities.

Buno does not guarantee the identity, intentions or conduct of every user or the safety of every event or venue.

Organizers and attendees remain responsible for their own conduct and decisions.

If you believe there is an immediate threat to someone’s health or safety, contact the appropriate emergency or law-enforcement authorities.

Serious safety concerns may also be reported to Buno.

Buno is intended to provide a respectful and safe environment for its community.

You must not use the Platform to:

• harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate or abuse another person;
• engage in sexual harassment or unwanted sexual conduct;
• unlawfully discriminate against others;
• promote hatred, violence or illegal activity;
• organize or facilitate unlawful activity;
• scam, defraud or deliberately mislead another user;
• impersonate another person;
• create fraudulent or deceptive accounts;
• send spam or inappropriate unsolicited commercial communications;
• disclose another person’s private or confidential information without authorization;
• upload malicious software or interfere with the security or operation of the Platform;
• manipulate reviews, attendance information or other Platform features;
• infringe another person’s intellectual property or privacy rights; or
• intentionally create an unsafe environment for another user.

Buno may take action against accounts or content that violate these standards.

Users may submit content to Buno, including profile information, photographs, event details, images, reviews, comments and other material (“User Content”).

You retain ownership of your User Content.

By submitting User Content to Buno, you grant Buno a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format and display that content as reasonably necessary to operate, provide, moderate and promote the Platform and relevant events.

You are responsible for ensuring that your User Content:

• belongs to you or is used with appropriate permission;
• is not intentionally false or misleading;
• does not infringe another person’s rights;
• does not unlawfully disclose private information; and
• complies with applicable law and these Terms.

Reviews must reflect genuine experiences and opinions. Buno may remove reviews or other content that we reasonably believe are fraudulent, manipulated, abusive, misleading or otherwise inappropriate.

Users may report accounts, events, content or behaviour that they believe violate these Terms.

Buno may review reports and Platform activity for safety, moderation, fraud prevention and integrity purposes.

Depending on the circumstances, Buno may:

• issue a warning;
• remove content;
• remove or reject an event;
• limit Platform functionality;
• temporarily suspend an account; or
• permanently disable an account.

Buno may take immediate action where we reasonably believe there is a serious safety, fraud, security or legal concern.

Moderation decisions are based on the information reasonably available to Buno at the time.

Organizers use Buno as independent users of the Platform.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, an organizer is not an employee, agent, representative, partner or joint-venture partner of Buno.

Organizers have no authority to enter into agreements, make commitments or provide guarantees on behalf of Buno.

Your use of Buno is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

We may collect, use and process information as reasonably necessary to operate accounts, provide Platform functionality, communicate with users, maintain security, prevent misuse and improve our services.

Certain information may be made available to organizers or other users where necessary for a Platform feature or event.

Please review our Privacy Policy for further information about how personal information is handled.

Buno may integrate with or provide links to third-party products and services, including maps, authentication providers, communication tools, websites and payment methods.

Third-party services operate independently from Buno and may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Buno is not responsible for the availability, operation, security, content or conduct of independent third-party services, except where responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.

The Buno name, logo, branding, Platform design, software, interfaces and original content created by Buno are owned by or licensed to Buno.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell or commercially exploit Buno’s intellectual property without prior permission, except where permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Buno’s intellectual property to you.

We aim to keep Buno available and operating reliably but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

The Platform may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, technical issues, security incidents, third-party service failures or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Buno may add, modify or discontinue Platform features from time to time.

Buno provides a technology platform that connects users with independent event organizers.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Buno is not responsible for losses or damages arising solely from:

• the acts or omissions of an independent organizer;
• the acts or omissions of an attendee;
• an independently organized event;
• interactions between users;
• payments made directly to an organizer;
• refund disputes between attendees and organizers;
• cancellation, postponement or modification of an independently organized event;
• third-party venues; or
• independent third-party services.

To the extent permitted by law, Buno will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including rights available under applicable consumer protection law.

Organizers are responsible for claims, losses or liabilities arising from their own events, conduct and legal obligations.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, an organizer agrees to indemnify Buno against reasonable third-party claims, losses, liabilities and costs arising directly from:

• the organizer’s event;
• unlawful, fraudulent or negligent conduct by the organizer;
• the organizer’s breach of these Terms;
• infringement of another person’s rights;
• content supplied by the organizer;
• payments collected directly by the organizer;
• the organizer’s refund obligations; or
• failure to obtain required licences, approvals or permissions.

This does not apply to the extent that a claim or loss results from conduct for which Buno is legally responsible.

You may stop using Buno at any time.

Buno may restrict, suspend or terminate an account where we reasonably believe:

• these Terms have been violated;
• fraudulent or unlawful activity is taking place;
• the account presents a material safety or security risk;
• another person’s rights are being harmed;
• the Platform is being misused; or
• action is reasonably necessary to protect Buno, its users or third parties.

Where appropriate, Buno may provide notice or an opportunity to address the issue. Immediate action may be taken in cases involving serious safety, fraud, security or legal concerns.

Termination of an account does not remove obligations that arose before termination, including an organizer’s responsibilities relating to attendees, payments or refunds.

Buno may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Platform, our operations or applicable requirements.

The latest revision date will be shown at the top of this page.

Where changes are material, we may provide notice through the Platform, by email or through another reasonable method.

Continued use of Buno after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of Pakistan.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Buno will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction in Pakistan.

Nothing in these Terms limits any right available under applicable law to approach a court, regulator, consumer forum or other competent authority.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

If Buno does not enforce a provision immediately, this does not waive our right to enforce it later.

You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without Buno’s prior written consent.

These Terms, together with any policies expressly incorporated into them, constitute the agreement governing your use of the Platform.
